Danish Sisterhood (Canada)

Effective 2009 all members are now AMBER members. To become a member of the Dogwood Lodge # 179, an application must be submitted with the annual Fee Cad 42.00. Members will receive a Danish Sisterhood Pin, a membership list and a copy of the Bylaws. The yearly membership Fee is due at the beginning of the year and must be paid no later than March. A member will receive a DSS NEWSLETTER from the Danish National Sisterhood 12 times a year. A member will also receive a local DOGWOOD NEWSLETTER 4 times year.

After Members turns 85 years of age, they will become Honourary members both in Lodge # 179 as well as in the National Supreme Lodge of the Danish Sisterhood of America, hence their yearly membership fee ceases. Please join us for a ‘hyggelig’ evening and get-together once a month and become part of the Danish Sisterhood. We strive to strengthen, maintain and preserve the Danish heritage and traditions for future generations.
